CinemaNext DCP Test Procedure

Download and test DCPs for your specific projector and sound system.

Encrypted DCP

Requires a KDM. Test certificate validity after long shutdowns.

Non-Encrypted DCP

No KDM required. Includes tests for framing, color, and sound.

If you have 7.1 sound, the 5.1 DCP is compatible. Use the dedicated 5.1 macro for proper channel mapping.

Download instructions: Contact us to request DCPs and KDM. Ingest 4 DCPs and the KDM on each server.

Testing the encrypted DCP: Play “CNX_Encryption_TST…”

Encryption test: "Yes" means certificate is valid and system is operational. "No" requires technical support.

Subtitle test: "Yes" means subtitles are operational. "No" requires technical support.
